Poppy Appeal
It is one of the best known and supported campaigns in the calendar and each year the nation shows its support for The Royal British Legion's work by giving generously to the Poppy Appeal. In 2008, The Royal British Legion raised almost £31 million and hope to improve on this in 2009.
Last year (2008) the Poitou-Charentes branch raised over €2000 for the poppy appeal and this year hopes to increase this figure. With your help and generosity we will achieve this.

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the Royal British Legion Poitou-Charentes Branch raised a very creditable €4533.64.
Last year the branch raised €2242.50.
This year we have doubled that figure.
